Donate an iPad to the students in need through the Exceptional Student Services Department at Eagle County Schools;
were we are dedicated to serving our students with disabilities in the Eagle County School District.
WHO ARE WE: Part of Exceptional Student Services is the Special Education Department. We are devoted to serving our students with disabilities. We provide our students with the individualized instruction and services they require in order to be successful in school and life. Our service providers and teams are committed to identifying students with disabilities and determining their individual needs. Our department supports classroom teachers and special education teachers by providing them with coaching support, professional development skills, and resources and materials they need to work with the students with disabilities.
WHY DONATE???
There are a host of reasons to donate iPads: |
*The iPad has motivated millions of voracious Apple consumers to pick up an upgrade. For many, figuring out how to make use of their old iPad is pretty easy: give it or sell it away to a friend or family member. But there is also the option to donate iPad to The ESS Department/Eagle County School District to assist our students with disabilities.
iPads are extremely versatile tools that can be used to assist students to access the curriculum and enhance their entire education experience. As the iPad continues to evolve and newer models are released, there is still use for older models. Children who otherwise would never have access to such a revolutionary piece of technology, that would benefit from everything an iPad has to offer.
*Plus, any device, including an itouch, iPad2 or higher, that you donate to Exceptional Student Services Department is fully tax deductible. When you donate an iPad to ESS you are entitled to the highest fair market tax deduction allowed by the IRS! Want to upgrade to the newer model? A tax break can put more money in your pocket letting you to invest in a newer iPad version!
*The gift of an iPad will help students access their curriculum to work along with their peers.
*iPad owners can accomplish many things at once with an iPad donation. This donation will help the School District- Exceptional Student Services bring high tech tools into the hands of our students in need.
Frequent Question: Can we only donate a iPad ?
Not at all! ESS department would be grateful for other forms of donations, such as, iTunes cards, gift cards, chargers, itouch/ipod to reach our goal of helping the students have the best resources to access their curriculum.
