Spruce Saddle Restaurant
Being green would not be possible as the local building inspector would not accept any log used as a post without a structural stamp. The Forest Servie input included the comment "an use of native rock would cause a depletion of natural rescources." Both the timber and rock would be brought in from other states. Spruce Saddle Lodge was given the Grand Award by the Pacific Coast Builders Conference and Builders Magazine in 1981
