History of Red Sky Ranch
Today, Peter's son, George Jouflas is 78 years old, and continues to live in the area along with a handful of family members. He has since retired from the rigors of ranching life and even carries a cell phone. The colorful threads of his Greek heritage, however, still dominate the fabric of his life. Having had a hand in establishing the community of Wolcott, it is important to the Jouflas family that the growth of the area be carefully managed. Vail Resorts Development Company has worked closely with the Jouflas' and other neighbors in creating a common vision for the enjoyment of this special area by more families.
